The Lecturer will be expected to assist in teaching a compulsory introductory course on ethics of technology for first year engineering students. The lecturer will work in a team of lecturers and support the main lecturer by giving tutorials and grading student work. We currently assume that most or all teaching will be on Campus; however, depending on the COVID-19 situation teaching might be in part of completely online.
Candidates are expected to have a Masters or PhD degree in philosophy, preferably in the field of ethics, applied ethics, ethics of technology or philosophy of technology, and have proven expertise in teaching philosophy courses.
We offer you a part-time employment of 0,3 fte for a fixed period of three and a half months, starting the10th of April 2023. The salary will be in the range of € 2.960 and € 4.670 gross per month (based on a fulltime salary). This salary excludes the standard yearly holiday allowance of 8% of the yearly salary and end year allowance of 8.3% of the yearly salary.
