What will you be doing?
As Manager Talent Attraction you will be at the heart of TU/e’s recruitment strategy, ensuring we attract the best minds to join our university. You will lead a team of passionate recruiters and collaborate with academic and administrative leaders to meet the university’s hiring needs.

Your main focus is to create opportunities and drive innovation to grow the success of our Talent Attraction Team. In a natural way you will foster and grow the recruitment function. Additionally, you will take the lead in defining the strategic agenda of the recruitment function within the TU/e landscape, in close cooperation with our HRM Policy team. You will develop and execute a visionary recruitment strategy aligned with TU/e’s growth and international ambitions.

As a manager you will lead and inspire a passionate team consisting of five Senior Recruiters and a Recruitment Project Lead. There is a strong, integrated collaboration with HR and Labor Market Communication. As the Manager Talent Attraction you will be the face of Talent Attraction within the TU/e and you will represent the team in an attractive and convincing way. You’ll work closely with university leadership, HR teams, and department heads to align hiring needs with institutional goals.

Functie-eisen

  • You hold a Master’s degree and have at least 8 years of experience in recruitment.
  • You have a track record in successfully managing teams.
  • You have experience in both operational and strategic recruitment and you have a clear vision on recruitment. You are able to define and execute the recruitment strategy.
  • You preferably have experience in initiating and developing a recruitment team and/or experience in the positioning of recruitment within an organization.
  • You are creative, proactive, and demonstrate courage and determination, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • You possess professional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Dutch.
  • You have great organizational sensitivity and preferably you have experience within the context of (semi-) governmental organizations.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

  • A monthly gross salary between € 5,495 and € 7,056 for full-time employment education (salary scale 12 collective labor agreement for Dutch Universities).

About the HRM Service Department
The service consists of approximately 125 colleagues and is composed of the HR Operations, HR Business & Talent Attraction and HR Development divisions. In this position, you will be part of the HR Business & Talent Attraction division. HRM encourages talent, continuous development and innovation in order to make the best use of human potential. We want to support the departments, services, institutes and all employees of TU/e to continuously develop and adapt to internal and external changes.

About SQUAD
HRM is part of the SQUAD program (Support QUAlity Drive). SQUAD is a relevant step in achieving our Strategy 2030 goals and provides HRM with opportunities to strengthen HR services, collaboration, and processes. HRM started the SQUAD program in April 2022. This will continue with the implementation of the HRM Change Plan in 2025 and beyond. The program aims to test the quality of HR service delivery at our university, among other things, through critical reflection, external reviews, and change plans.
