As a Learning & Development Specialist you have a great passion for learning and developing people. You will join an enthusiastic team that focuses on the development of internal staff members throughout the organization. You will identify individual and organizational learning needs and design, develop, implement and evaluate appropriate learning solutions that contribute to the objectives of the TU/e. Based on your expertise in the field of training and development, you make a substantive contribution to the development of new learning content, as well as the coordination of the current offer. You initiate and contribute to innovation in the area of Learning & Development. Topics include leadership, diversity and various other HR themes. You will work closely with other departments within HRM, such as HR Advice and Policy, in order to explicate internal learning needs. As a consultant you have insight into the development needs of the organization as well as the people within it; as a learning expert you understand how to support the learning process and the implementation of acquired knowledge into daily practice.
We are looking for a Learning and Development Specialist who, with his or her considerable dose of positive energy and flexible approach, is able to maximize staff’s potential through professional learning and thus contribute to the further development and professionalization of our organization.
You are independent and organizationally sensitive. You can quickly switch between various topics and are able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all different levels within the organization. You are proactive in sharing ideas, are customer-oriented, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to connect. You are experienced in designing, together with stakeholders, interventions in learning and development within a university context. You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English languages (C1 level). In addition, you have completed a WO education.
This is a temporary appointment for a period of one year, with an extension or conversion into an employment contract for an indefinite period if you perform well. Depending on knowledge and experience, the salary will amount to a minimum of € 3.637,- and a maximum of € 4.978,- (salary scale 11) gross per month under the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities. We also offer good fringe benefits, including an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%, and excellent sports facilities. You will be part of a department in which professionalism in learning and development is key.
