Currently we have a RPA developer position at offer within our service department ‘Library and Information Services (LIS)’. This service is responsible, among other things, for the entire demand - supply chain in the field of information management and IT. The service is transforming into a product-oriented structure, with empowered product teams responsible for professional service provision and further development of their product. In consultation with stakeholders, requirements are collected, prioritized and aligned. Part of the transformation is the introduction of Agile working methods. The service is subdivided in six Product Areas: Library and Open Science, Research, Education, Corporate, Data & Insights and Platforms.

Job description

As a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) developer, you build software robots that enable Eindhoven University of Technology to optimize administrative, repetitive and/or manual processes and provide maximum relief to colleagues through robotized processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using tools such as Microsoft PowerAutomate. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into functional RPA solutions.

You will be part of the product team Process Optimization within the Product Area Corporate.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement RPA solutions using tools such as Microsoft PowerAutomate
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand and analyze business requirements
  • Continuously improve and optimize existing RPA solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest RPA trends and best practices

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Broad technical knowledge and eager to learn about new technologies
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in RPA development
  • Strong experience with Microsoft PowerAutomate
  • Experience with other RPA tools such as UIPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or WorkFusion is a plus
  • Experience with programming languages such as C#, .NET, or Python
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong written and oral communication in both Dutch and English
  • Flexible, dynamic and experience in an Agile/Scrum/DevOps environment

Conditions of employment

  • A monthly salary of minimum € 2.960,- to maximum € 5.439,- for full-time employment, depending on your knowledge and experience (salary scale 10 or 11 collective labour agreement for Dutch Universities).
