Job description

Are you enthusiastic about the prospect of designing & implementing learning & development interventions, together with users and stakeholders, as well as initiating & supervising strategic learning projects within a university context? Then you’re the person we’re looking for: an experienced learning & development specialist!

What will you be doing?

  • As L&D specialist, you will identify individual and organizational learning needs and develop, implement and evaluate appropriate learning solutions for (academic) staff of the TU/e.
  • You will work together with your L&D colleagues on strategic themes like leadership, social safety, rewards & recognition, wellbeing, people- & team development and cultural change.
  • You will work with colleagues within HRM to ensure new interventions can be rolled out and to integrate the Learning & Development offer into standardized HR processes.
  • As a learning expert you support the learning process and the implementation of acquired knowledge into daily practice.

  • You are proactive in sharing ideas, user-oriented with good interpersonal skills and the ability to connect.
  • You have experience with different types of learning interventions such as e.g. peer coaching and communities of practice.
  • You are experienced in designing and implementing learning and development interventions, together with users and stakeholders, as well as with initiating & supervising strategic learning projects within a university context.
  • Given the target group, experience with working with (academic) staff in a university is an advantage.
  • You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English languages (C1 level).

  • An employment contract and salary in accordance with scale 11 (max. €5.439,-- in accordance with the CAO NU).

The service consists of approximately 100 colleagues and is composed of the HR Services & E-HRM, HR Advice, Policy, Learning & Development and OSHE&R divisions. In this position, you will be part of the Learning & Development (L&D) division. HRM L&D encourages talent, continuous development and innovation in order to make the best use of human potential.
