Health

Healthy solutions from excellent science

Our society faces numerous challenges in the field of healthcare. These include an ageing population, a growing number of people with lifestyle related diseases like heart diseases and diabetes and other chronic diseases, as well as rapidly rising staff shortages. These challenges require new products and services in the healthcare industry and technology plays crucial role in addressing those challenges. At Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), about 300 researchers spread over 9 departments are actively involved in health-technology. Our goals are early and precise diagnosis, precise and efficient treatments, healthcare at home and keeping people healthy. To obtain these goals, we work in close collaboration with our partners in healthcare, healthtech, health enablers and health beneficiaries.
